A pure essential oil is unadulterated, which means three things: First, it’s sourced from nature rather than synthetically produced in a lab. Second, it’s authentic. Its botanical identity is verified through testing, confirming that it is what it says it is. Third, it’s undiluted by fillers or additives. It contains no added fragrances, dyes, or preservatives—no undisclosed ingredients.
Founded in 2008, doTERRA grew rapidly thanks to the vision of a group of passionate people with a mission to share pure essential oils with the world. They formed a company and named it doTERRA, a Latin derivative meaning “Gift of the Earth.”
